Preparing Future Students for Success

The GVSU 8th Grade Pathways Program, established in 2021, is designed to equip students with the knowledge and confidence needed to prepare for life after high school.

Through hands-on workshops and year-round engagement, students explore career pathways, learn how to navigate the financial aid process, and develop the skills to make informed decisions about their future.

A Guaranteed Opportunity

Students who successfully complete the program and meet GVSU admission requirements will receive an official acceptance letter to Grand Valley State Unviersity

Supporting Students & Families

The 8th Grade Pathways Program provides full academic year support to help students meet the necessary academic requirements to graduate high school and transition into college.

Families of students participating in the 8th Grade Pathway Program are also eligible for the GV Pledge Program as Pathway Parents.
